Coming out to my friends is easy. But to my parents? Nahh, it was nerve-wracking… I’ve been gay for almost all my life. I mean, when I was still in grade scol, a foreign feeling for boys is what I’m already struggling before. I didn’t tell my parents about it until last monday. I was inspired by the movie “Love, Simon”. At first, my parents were asking me if I was just curious or not yet sure about what I said but I told them it’s true. My mom cried. But she accepted me anyway. Meanwhile, my dad hugged me tight and told me he loves me so much. I tught it will be hard for them but I was wrong. They accepted me for w I am and I’m very thankful for that. It’s still me. Do you have the same experience as mine? |
