My girlfriend and I are finally getting a dog. It’s a female lhasa apso that we will also train as a service dog. My problem now is that my girlfriend is extremely into naming her Gertrude of all names possible. I wanted to call the dog Chewy like Chewbacca because most lhasa apsos look like him. Anyway, how do I convince her to not name our soon to be pup Gertrude. She justifies it as a namesake for Gertrude B. Elion, her favourite biochemist. Is it really hard to change the mind of Lima women? Help!
