My girlfriend and I have been dating for a year and a half now. Through that long, I have witnessed and experienced how aggressive my girlfriend really is. On the first few months, she started to kick and bite me. I didn’t take it as a big deal though because I love her and that’s what matters. However, as time goes by,she had become more violent than before. She used to hit me with anything she can grab. She has become so abusive. One time, she saw me with a foreign friend of mine and she was fuming mad when I reached home. When she got mad, she turned into a beast. Then, I realized that sometimes, love is not enough to hold on. I broke up with her even though I still love her. Am I doing the right thing? Is breaking up really a solution to this?
