I’m in a bit of a situation. I met my Russian gf during an international dating social event and a couple of months ago, I purchased a diamond ring for her. I’m planning to propose this month and I’m confused if I should place the ring on her left (as most countries do) or on her right (as the Russian traditional states). The thing is, once I propose to her, I’m going to bring her with me back home since deciding where and which country we should get married would be something I should discuss with her. But the thing is, I don’t know where I should place the ring when I surprise her. I need some advice and clarification on this. It’s driving me nuts.
