My ex-girlfriend and I dated for about 4 years. We met at a foreign affairs dating event and we were able to make LDR work for 4 years. Sadly, our time together came to an end around December last year. I was extremely devastated at first. I thought she wouldn’t give up on our relationship but she did. I know she still loves me and I still love her but we have problems that resurface again and again and we just cannot deal with that as of the moment. I thought I would have a hard time moving on but 4 months in and I’m now very open to dating others, I rarely think about her too. I honestly feel like I’ve moved on. Is this normal? Is this just a phase? Am I gonna have a relapse eventually?
